This past Thanksgiving we did something we had never done before; invited a bunch of friends (20 in all) and entertained outside in the backyard area. We decided this would give us the much needed push to get everything completed even though we really didn’t have far to go. There were just a few areas that seemed like they had something missing and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what. In walks my friend Lynn and within days I had a Medallion Wall Frieze mounted over the outdoor fireplace. It was perfect and really set the tone for all the other little “touches”.

One of them was the bright idea of my spouse and even thought I hated it at first, it was the hit of the party though I think the neighbors thought we were having a bit too much fun. It was a brass gong bell that was rung more than a few times. However, since then, it has become a staple when calling everyone to dinner and I love being able to ring it to signal the kids that it is time to come home. Even one of my neighbors has asked me where they can get one so I guess all is forgiven.
