Most people associate arbors with the coming of spring as they are perfect for climbing vines and flowers.  However, a simple garden arbor is a wonderful yard structure that can be used and enjoyed on a year round basis, if only viewing it from your window.  Since my favorite time of year is fall, I love to watch how the birds and squirrels work daily to prepare for the upcoming winter.  As the leaves have turned to orange, red and brown and fall one by one from the trees above, they have been caught up in the vines and have created a patchwork quilt of color.  It is just beautiful.
